Product Description


BZ-6801-22-H is a two-component polyurethane encapsulant tailored for new-energy soft-pack battery modules, combining low density, UL94 V0 rating, and superior flowability to ensure thorough filling and sealing of cell assemblies. Featuring a 1:1 mix ratio by weight and Shore A 60±5 hardness, it delivers lightweight protection and effective thermal management while meeting rigorous safety norms. Fully RoHS/REACH-compliant, this formulation suits global markets and environmentally responsible applications.

1.Lightweight Formulation: Mixed density of 1.09±0.03 g/cm³ lowers module mass, boosting energy density and extending EV/portable storage range.

2.V0 Fire Safety: Certified UL94 V-0 vertical burn rating, ensuring critical fire protection for high-energy battery systems.
3.Superior Flow: Initial viscosity 400–700 mPa·s enables complete filling of narrow gaps between cells and frames, preventing voids and enhancing thermal uniformity.
4.Fast Production Cure: Fully sets in 2.5–3.5 h at 25°C, or ≤40 min at 60°C, streamlining manufacturing without compromising bond integrity.
5.Broad Thermal Endurance: Stable from -40°C to 120°C, performing reliably under both frigid conditions and high-temperature charging.

Product Applications


  1. Battery Cell Gap Filling: Fills narrow inter-cell gaps, boosting thermal conductivity and reducing hot spots during charge/discharge.
  2. Module Structural Sealing: Seals modules against moisture and physical impact, ensuring EV/energy-storage durability.
  3. Thermal Interface Material: Lightweight thermal bridge between cells and cooling plates, enhancing heat dissipation and battery life.
  4. Safety Barrier: Flame-retardant interlayer that prevents thermal runaway spread between failed cells.

Directions for Use

  1. Pre-potting Preparation: Calibrate scales, prepare potting tools, cleaning tools, check machine settings, check vacuum pump force, etc. 
  2. Product Pre-treatment: Place product on a level surface or fixture. Remove dust, clean, degrease, and dry if necessary.
  3. Accurate Proportioning: Manual operation requires precise mixing according to the specified ratio and recording. Machine potting requires calibrated ratios and first-article confirmation is recommended.
  4. Mixing & Stirring: Manual operation requires thorough stirring or using electric stirrers to ensure homogeneous mixing. Machine potting requires sufficient stirring speed, adjust as needed.
  5. Uniform Potting: Manual operation should be done in small, multiple batches to ensure uniformity. Machine potting should follow the programmed path for quantitative dispensing.
  6. Inspection or Secondary Potting: After potting, visually inspect as needed. Perform touch-up, bubble removal, or secondary potting if required.
  7. Curing: Allow the potted and inspected products to cure at room temperature or with heat assistance (recommended 60°C if needed), according to product and process requirements.
  8. Final Product Confirmation: Perform visual inspection and performance testing as required by the customer.
